Help us make real connection a weekly habit again — in 100 cities.
The Board Walks are free.

We believe a hyper-effective solution to the loneliness crisis should not live behind a paywall.

This leaves a big question: "Then how does it stay alive and grow?"
From the personal finances of our founders Elle and Cam and the goodwill of hosts who donate their Saturdays to this mission, bringing together over 20,000 people for great conversations.
That's gotten us to 18 cities.
It will not get us to 100.

That's what a partner fuels.

Who's on the trail
Our attendees are successful adults in their mid 20s through 40s who care about wellness, personal development, and intentional living.
They show up before noon on a Saturday, voluntarily, and then do it again.
Regulars average 20+ walks. One woman in Detroit left a job because it scheduled her on Saturdays. The loyalty of our community members goes far beyond standard audiences, because the walk becomes a weekly routine they cherish.
They're curious.
They have at least three educational podcasts in their weekly rotation. The topics people bring in a single morning range from whether babies have souls to the economy to how to leave a marriage well. Same walk.
They're builders, movers, and people mid-transition.
Founders, creatives, people new to a city, people rethinking something big. The walk tends to catch people at hinge moments, which is why it sticks.

They're doing well financially.
They have the space and freedom to walk five miles with strangers on Saturday mornings. Almost all of our attendees are entrepreneurs or have stable jobs.

They try new things.
The walk is a very unique event, to say the least. It attracts people with a high level of openness to new ideas, products, and experiences.
They are so grateful for the walk that they tell people.
Over 20,000 humans, four countries, zero advertising. Every single one of them arrived because someone they trusted said come with me.
They span four countries and 18+ cities, and the format works identically in Austin, London, Detroit, and Aveiro.
That portability is unusual and it's the reason a partnership here doesn't have to be a one-city experiment. As a partner, you'd grow with us. Literally.

Small Town, Big Talk
BY THE NUMBERS
Proof that connection scales — one walk,
one city, one conversation at a time
Who we're looking for
The brands we'd walk five miles to meet.
If your product is already on our feet.

Footwear, apparel, layers, the things people put on before they leave the house on a cold Saturday.

Two thousand miles walked and counting, in four countries, in every kind of weather a person can walk through. Our people are outside for two hours every week and they notice what works and what gives them a blister at mile four.

Here's what makes this different from an endorsement: nobody on our trail is paid to wear anything. When a regular shows up in the same jacket six weeks running, 40 people notice, and the ones who ask about it are asking a friend. Not a billboard.
Word of mouth is the only engine we've ever had. Turns out it works on gear too.

If you make the thing that gets someone through the second hour.

Hydration, fuel, snacks, supplements, anything a person reaches for when they've been moving longer than they planned to.

Five miles is farther than people expect. There's a specific moment, usually somewhere past mile three, when someone realizes they've been talking so hard they forgot to drink water.

We know where that moment happens on every trail in every city we're in. That's an unusually precise thing to be able to offer someone.

And if you're building social drinking without the drinking: almost every adult friendship in this country is built around a bar, and the people who don't drink have been quietly paying for that with their social lives for years. We made a place where connection happens before noon, sober, and nobody notices the absence because the absence was never the point. That's your bet, from a different angle.

If your whole business is getting a person out of the house.

Trail and route apps. Gathering platforms. Marketplaces built on trusting a stranger. Grocery stores that are secretly the last place an entire neighborhood still stands in the same room.

You're in our business with a different delivery mechanism. You already spend your days solving the hardest part of what we do, which is convincing someone that leaving the house is worth it.

If you're working on this same problem from inside a screen.

Meditation, mindfulness, mental health, anything built to help a person feel less alone with themselves.

You built extraordinary tools for the part of this that can be solved alone.
We handle the part that can't.

There's a ceiling on what any app can do for someone who hasn't had a real conversation in three weeks, and the best people at these companies know exactly where that ceiling sits. We're what's on the other side of it: the same care, moved outdoors, with other humans in it.

If you fund the architecture.

Foundations, civic organizations, and public health teams working on isolation, third places, and social infrastructure.

The loneliness crisis has been declared a public health emergency. What it doesn't have is many interventions that are free, repeatable, culturally portable, and already running.

We've been running one for four years, in four countries, on word of mouth and personal savings.

Most funding in this space studies the symptom.
We'd like to talk to anyone interested in resourcing the treatment.
What we could build
There are a lot of ways to walk with us.
A partnership might live on Saturday mornings, across our growing network of cities, inside our digital ecosystem and original content, or across the movement as a whole.

Maybe we put your product into the hands of thousands of people. Maybe we create an experience together. Maybe you help us bring The Board Walks to entirely new cities. Maybe we tell a story neither of us could tell alone.

We don’t believe in one-size-fits-all sponsorships.
The best partnerships start with a good question: what could we make together that our community would genuinely value?
What we protect
The part where we tell you what we won't do.
We'd rather be upfront than waste your quarter.

No pitches on the walk itself.
Not us, not you, not a member, not a founder with a great deck. It's in our Ground Rules.
The moment someone on that trail suspects they're an audience instead of a person, the thing we spent four years building quietly dies.

To preserve the walk experience, we've built a digital ecosystem around them.
We have a thriving weekly newsletter of 5,000+ readers (as of Aug 2026), social media, and a media arm.
Plus the reach of our founders, Elle and Cam Hogan.

No branded interruptions.
This is not your traditional "set up a booth and hand out product" partnership.
The walk is a safe space where people can unwind, put their phones away, and be fully present. It has become a sacred ritual for thousands of people around the world, and its agenda-free intention is what makes it feel that way.
We are open to something being provided at the end of the walk, especially if it would delight our hungry and sweaty friends after five miles, but not before or during.

We'll say no to a good check if the fit is wrong.
We've done it many times.
We're looking for a partner who loves the integrity and values we've built since 2022, and wants to help us bring it around the world.

Here's why this should make you even more interested:

That restraint is exactly what makes this community worth reaching.
These are 20,000+ people who have never once been sold to in this space, who show up on a Saturday morning by choice, and who come back an average of 20 times.

That isn't reach. It's trust.
And it's the only kind worth borrowing.

The world, in one glance:
The Board Walks are where it happens.
The Friday Debrief is where we tell you what happened.

Whimsy World is our media home for great conversations.
The Board is the private room.
And underneath all of it is one idea:
The right environment changes who you get to be.
